Before Kyle Sutton wrote HONEY Out of the Rock, he also authored an amazing book titled I Am Joseph, an in-depth Bible study covering the tragic, yet triumphant life of the beloved son of Jacob who suffered at the hands of his own brothers. Using the highlights of Joseph’s life as a template, Sutton examines fifty-five striking parallels between Joseph and Israel’s suffering Messiah, Jesus Christ. The book is currently out of print, but we have plans of bringing it back in new and expanded paperback and eBook editions.
To commemorate this wonderful work, we are releasing a Limited Edition Individually Signed & Numbered Print from a 36″ x 48″ original “oil on canvas” by Kyle Sutton depicting the emotional moment when Joseph reveals his true identity to his half brothers on their second trip to Egypt. The painting illustrated the original book’s cover.
The mural on the wall behind Joseph recounts his two dreams. The brothers all express various emotions:

- Regret (2nd from left)
- Utter amazement (3rd from the left)
- Joy (4th from the left)
- Deep sorrow (5th from the left)
- Fear for his life (6th from the left)

- Embarrassment (his half brother on his right, consoling him and telling him that there is something else he needs to know)
The cup—the focal point of Joseph’s object lesson, which became the dreaded object of Benjamin and Judah’s apparent jeopardy—now victoriously rests in Joseph’s left hand. Pharaoh’s signet ring (Genesis 41:42) majestically rests upon his right hand.
